QueueExplorer 5 released – dark mode, schema operations

We just released a new major version of QueueExplorer. We feel this is a significant upgrade that brings entirely new kind of functionality, not available before – operations on metadata.

Schema (metadata) operations (Pro)

Schema operations allow you to export/copy definitions of queueing objects: queues, topics, exchanges, vhosts, etc. After that, you can import/paste them on the new server. This is useful when migrating servers, or propagating changes from development to production. You can also use it to compare two servers for differences. Or to quickly duplicate objects within a single server.

Schema operations are only available in the Professional edition.

Dark mode

You can choose between dark and light modes now.

Full Hi-Dpi supports

QueueExplorer 5 fully supports HiDpi displays. This includes sharp vector icons. You can also manually increase text size and other elements will be changed accordingly.

Faster custom columns (Pro)

Custom XML, JSON, or Regex columns are now calculated in multiple background threads, increasing performance and responsiveness when custom columns are used.

Multi server connectivity and tabs in the Standard edition as well

These features were previously available only in the Professional edition but can be now used in the Standard as well. You can add multiple connections, organize them in the group, and open new tabs as needed.
